Class Descriptions and Fees

Current medical qigong classes are now full. If you would like to be on a waiting list for the opening of a new class, please call 715-342-5757.

All classes will meet at 2811 Post Road. This is the northern end suite in the Falk business complex, on the west side of Post Road, directly across the street from the Book Look children’s bookstore. There is ample parking.

Please remember that Medical Qigong is not an exercise class. It is a powerful, ancient, mind-body practice for increasing stamina, supporting healing, reducing stress, and vastly improving the sense of well-being. One important rule is that you are never to go into a position of discomfort.

The classes are on-going and newcomers are always welcome. The fee for sporadic attendees is $15 per session and for regular attendees, $12 per session. The individual practices used in each session are selected according to the needs of the group and according to the current season and weather patterns and the effects of these upon all human energy systems.

New material will be introduced every two to three months, depending on the class and the level of daily practice which has been established. I do not divide classes into “levels.” We are all always learners. Practicing together with a group is very important for everyone because of the energy field which is produced and which facilitates the practice. This helps newcomers along in establishing their own daily practice.
The fee for 4-weeks will be $48.00, with a $15.00 fee for an occasional drop-in. The policy for those paying in advance will remain the same: you may make up missed classes by attending any other class at no extra charge, with the caveat that there needs to be sufficient physical space available in the room for the number of people who attend. Registered participants will have priority.

Most classes will be conducted with participants in standing position. Chairs will always be provided for those who need to periodically sit down, and seated variations on the exercises will be taught when appropriate. Classes which are totally for seated position will be indicated in the class description.

Want to help spread the good word about the benefits of qigong practice? I am happy to provide free-of-charge introductory sessions for your friends and colleagues, according to scheduling availability. Please talk to me if you are interested.
